Rayzerm,

I have two of them and they give off a very long radiant heat 10+ hours. A little fluid goes a long way in these things. My fingers numb up easy in the winter so I carry these with me when I'm out.

It comes with a little pre-measured pour gizmo, but you do need a lighter to kick off the reaction. There is NO flame at all.

Have you ever used the TP inside a coffee can heater?

I am told by a good friend from Arkansas that a roll of TP in a large coffee can that has been doused with denatured alcohol makes a heck of a heater for a duck blind. A work of caution, do not attempt to use the TP during or after it has been burned! :(

I'll have to check them out. What would be the diff. between zippo and the tried and true jon-e warmer by aladdin or the Kiribai solid fuel warmer by Kiribai chemical out side of price I don't know

I have a large jon-e body warmer. it is very hot when in use. it works well in a chest pocket of a third layer. just inside the outer coat. Great for sleeping heat too. I have several of the small ones too.

Check local flea markets and garage sales. I even found a few at the local salvation army store.

It seems that link is for the larger size there is a smaller one for 19.95 here. http://www.zippocase...=productdetails

Exactly! I have 2 of the jon-es and wife made me a flannel and fake Sherpa kiddney belt a pocket over each kiddney and plenty of heat to the blood stream. Not putting the zip on the zippo but the jon-e may be cheaper.:D
