I'd never considered that Ray. What can you do to get long term storage foods? Anyone on the island in that business? If not, might be a second job waiting to happen, eh?

Weeelll,

In Ireland's fair isle, when it comes to things like long term food storage, good knives or affordable equipment, there is virtually no supplier's in the game. Even in the UK, there is not much market for long storage food.

Bit of a pain really !

I would love to think that there would be a business opening, but to be honest the market is just not there.
The mentality here is very lacking when it comes to being prepared. No one would want to have to do anything for themselves. "No Food in the shops - the government should solve that and deliver supplies to our door"

All the same, I love our little Island - it has no snakes or any wild animal that can eat you !:D

I'd bet you could trade for almost anything you want when things do go bad.
